This Panoramic Project Adventure has launched and we could not be happier. Week One took us North with stops at Utah Lake, Craters of the Moon and various Missoula campsites (Chief Looking Glass) and most recently into Glacier National Park.

We were excited to meet up with our dear friend Diana in Missoula where we enjoyed a great dinner at Plonk and walks along the River Front trail. We also made a valuable stop at the Missoula REI to add more cold weather supplies that we neglected to bring with us when we loaded our camper in already warm St. George.
The sights have been amazing so far with verdant valleys and snow capped mountains framing every shot. Classic western scenes with big ranches, lush green landscapes and dense forests gave way to the huge vistas of the glacial lakes we are now camped nearby.

Chilly and damp weather have given us a little pause for more camper time with our Olympian Wave (our propane heater) keeping us warm. Our internet connection has been dodgy given the forest setting we are camped in — trees are super tall. We’ve seen lots of deer and have heard a lot about bears. Maddie is keeping us safe.
Today we will ride the Going-to-the-Sun road on our gravel bicycles. Dan is on his “sexy tuna” Salsa Cutthroat analog and me on my “fancy pants” Specialized Turbo Creo 2 Expert e-bike (Yah!!!).

Nothing like hitting the road for an adventure. Next stop Canada!
