Additional NWT and Yukon Photos – Catching Up

life on the road continues to be busy. We arrived in Tuktoyaktuk, NT on the Arctic Ocean (69.4 degrees North) at about 6:30 p.m. two days ago. It was a balmy 64 degrees F at the time, but turned cool over night. Then it started to rain yesterday and it is 38 degrees this morning. Lori has almost completed our travelog update, but I am behind. So, taking advantage of the weather situation, I have processed photos up through July 8th. Here are some of them…

Sambaa Deh Falls and Coral Falls, then Fort Liard Municipal Campground. All from the Mackenzie Highway and the Liard Trail.

Rancheria Falls and Five Finger Rapids on the Klondike Highway.

Marsh Lake outside of Whitehorse was a beautiful lake and nice campground. Here are some beach pics.

We loved camping at Twin Lakes on the Klondike Highway. Here are some paddleboard pics,

Grizzly Lake Trail on the Dempster Highway in Tombstone Territorial Park.

More photos from the Tombstone TP area plus two from the Elephant Rock viewpoint.

We had a great campsite at the Yukon/Northwest Territories border. It was beautiful when we arrived but the smoke from the nearby fires rolled in as the evening progressed. Here are a couple of pics from the campsite and at the Peel River and Mackenzie River ferry crossings:

And, now we are up to date with some pics from Tuktoyaktuk, NT and the Pingos.
